KALAMAZOO, MI – Nov. 13, 2019 – Honor Credit Union held the official ribbon cutting ceremony of its new Connect Center on Friday, November 8. Alongside Southwest Michigan First, Honor’s Board of Directors, team members, and the community gathered at the Connect Center to celebrate the grand opening of this innovative space in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo.

Joining Honor for the ribbon cutting ceremony was Mayor Bobby Hopewell, Senator Sean McCann, District Representative Nate Henschel for Congressman Fred Upton and Melissa Fish from the office of State Representative Jon Hoadley.

Designed by Intersect Studio, the construction of the Connect Center was led by E.C. Moore. The new space encourages Honor members to use digital tools to accomplish financial transactions by featuring a variety of collaborative spaces, technology, and flexibility to serve as a landing point that can be utilized by members for their business needs.

“The Connect Center is all about Honor taking banking to the next level,” commented Liz Amundson, Honor’s Regional Manager.  “With a heavy focus on digital banking, building relationships, and making connections, it’s the perfect place for members to meet with Honor’s mortgage lenders, business team, or clients of their own. We’re so happy to be a part of this amazing community and look forward to helping downtown Kalamazoo with all of your business and financial needs.”

The Connect Center is located at 148 E Michigan Ave in downtown Kalamazoo, and open Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The Kalamazoo Mall Parking Garage and street parking will be available for visitors.
