ALLEGAN, MICHIGAN – OCTOBER 22, 2026 – Honor Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new Allegan branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, October 19, 2026. Located at 1256 Lincoln Rd., the standalone full-service branch reflects Honor’s continued investment in the Allegan community and its commitment to meeting the evolving financial needs of its members. Since first joining Allegan in 2015, Honor has remained dedicated to supporting local businesses, members and community growth.
This new branch spans nearly 2,800 square feet and features enhanced amenities, including a night-drop deposit box, enhanced technology for teller services, a drive-thru with a 24-hour ATM and video tellers available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Key partners on the project include Brent Holtz and Ade Adewoye of Brooks Architecture and Craig Moore of E.C. Moore Construction.
Honor Credit Union CEO Scott McFarland expressed his enthusiasm for the new Honor Allegan branch as a reflection of the organization’s continued investment in Allegan.
“It’s hard to believe that just a few months ago we were standing here on a lot of dirt, and now behind us stands this beautiful new branch,” said McFarland. “This branch is an example of Honor’s commitment to the Allegan community and our promise of providing solutions for financial success. I’m grateful to our Honor team and Board of Directors, whose dedication and vision helped make this investment possible. We hope this branch becomes a place where people and businesses feel welcomed and supported for years to come.”
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Allegan Branch Manager Dan Carpenter emphasized how the new and improved amenities will benefit the community.
“This is a tremendous blessing, not just for Allegan, but for Honor as a whole,” said Carpenter. “We’re excited to offer features our members have been requesting for years, including a night deposit box. We’ve also expanded our teller technology to better serve our members and created additional space for our team to collaborate and continue delivering the exceptional service our members deserve.”
On behalf of Senator Aric Nesbitt, District Director Josh Przygocki attended the ceremony for the new Allegan branch and shared a message recognizing Honor’s support for local growth in Allegan.
“Congratulations to Honor Credit Union on the opening of their new Allegan Branch. It’s dedicated businesses like Honor that help our communities grow and prosper by supporting and investing in our local communities,” said Sen. Aric Nesbitt, R-Porter Township.
