BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN – August 4, 2026 – Honor Credit Union is pleased to announce Mary Ann Hurst as its new Community Development Officer (CDO), serving communities across Southwest Michigan, including South Haven, Coloma, Benton Harbor, and Hartford.

Hurst brings over three decades of financial industry and leadership experience to her new role, along with a strong passion for community engagement and relationship building. “I look forward to making new relationships and enhancing both our local business owners’ needs and our members’ needs,” said Hurst. “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. I want to have a positive impact on everyone we serve.”

Hurst is passionate about empowering individuals and communities by providing accessible financial resources and professional support. Her leadership experience and industry knowledge position her to effectively guide team members while working closely alongside business members to help them reach new heights.
