KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN – May 26, 2026 – Honor Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of Marques Mitchell as Mortgage Loan Originator, serving the Greater Kalamazoo Community and beyond.
Mitchell brings many years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Baker College of Flint. Before his role at Honor, Mitchell worked in retail banking since 2008 and earned his mortgage license in 2021. His experience has helped him develop a strong understanding of how to support members at every stage of their financial journey, leading him to his new role with Honor Credit Union.
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, Mitchell is passionate about helping members achieve their dream of homeownership while providing an experience that goes beyond the transaction. He is dedicated to building relationships and ensuring members feel supported and confident throughout the homebuying process.
