HARTFORD, MICHIGAN – AUGUST 29, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is pleased to announce the internal promotion of Shelby Ledesma to Hartford Member Center Manager. In this role, she is responsible for leading the daily operations of the member center and its team while providing solutions to members and initiatives that support Honor’s member promise.
Shelby began her career with Honor eight years ago and has since held several positions with the credit union. These positions include Part-Time Teller, Full-Time Teller, Member Specialist, Team Lead, and now Hartford Member Center Manager.
Additionally, she holds an associate degree from Lake Michigan College, where she attended with a full-ride scholarship for softball.
While Shelby resides in Coloma with her husband, Tyler, and their three children, she is looking forward to becoming familiar with the places and people of the community of Hartford.
“As an avid sports fan & lifetime softball player, the quote “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game” resonates with me in all steps of life,” commented Ledesma.
“Taking the manager position in Hartford was a big step out of my comfort zone with being in a new community and having big shoes to fill, being the only financial institution in Hartford. You can never better yourself in fear of failure. I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my ‘game’”.
