GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN – JUNE 6, 2022 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the hire of James McLaughlin. McLaughlin will serve as the Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) for the Grand Rapids area, which includes our current member center location in Wyoming and our new full-service locations set to open this fall in Jenison and Allendale.
James brings significant experience within the financial industry with a Finance Degree from the University of Colorado and previously served as the Vice President of FirstBank in Colorado. James currently resides just outside of Grand Rapids in Belmont, Michigan, with his wife and daughter and is ready to build new relationships within the community.
As part of the Business Services team, James will work alongside Honor’s Member Center Managers, Community Assistant Vice Presidents, and additional stakeholders to create relationships, serve the community, and optimize the business member experience by creating financial solutions for success. McLaughlin will be heavily involved in developing and maintaining business member relationships and identifying opportunities for growth within the communities the credit union serves.
