BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN – JUNE 5, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the promotion of Lisa Denney to Regional Manager for its Southeast Region. Honor’s Southeast Region includes its three Battle Creek locations: Beckley, Helmer, Urbandale, and its Coldwater member center communities.
As Regional Manager, Lisa will heavily support and lead the Member Center Managers and Community Development Officers in her region. She will work closely with the Business Services, Lending, Marketing, and Operations Departments to continue to drive an exceptional member experience while strengthening the credit union’s mission to serve its members where and how they want to be served.
Lisa began her credit union career in 2007, bringing her 16 years of experience in the industry. She joined Honor Credit Union in 2018. Throughout her career, she has been a teller and has worked her way through the member center with positions including Loan Officer, Assistant Manager, Branch Manager, and now Regional Manager.
“My approach is building relationships with my team and peers to create memories, trust, and open communication so they know that I am here to support, build and push them to do great things for Honor Credit Union,” stated Denney. “This will allow my team to engage in emotional, affective, and social relationships with our members. I truly believe that if people enjoy what they do and believe in themselves, they will show the world what they know.”
Lisa resides in East Leroy with her husband Clayton, their son Jacob, and their two cats and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, and her favorite places to go are places where history has been made.
