BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI – Oct. 3, 2019 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the internal promotion of Liz Amundson. Amundson recently accepted the position of Regional Manager for the Greater Kalamazoo and Battle Creek areas. Amundson’s region covers Honor’s member centers in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Coldwater, Plainwell, and Allegan.
As Regional Manager, Amundson will lead the overall member experience team in Southwest Michigan and work closely with Honor’s Marketing, Real Estate, Business Services, Lending, and Operations team. While driving a consistent experience and expectations between Honor’s locations and virtual channels, the Regional Manager will support team members in providing exceptional member experience, hospitality, and sense of urgency.
“I’m looking forward to growing and expanding Honor’s presence in our communities,” commented Amundson. “My position as the Regional Manager will allow me to guide Honor’s team members and ensure that each member experience exceeds expectations.”
Born in Salina, Kansas, Liz Amundson has lived in Battle Creek, Michigan since 1977 with her husband of 22 years, Darrell Price, her children, Chelsea Jackman and Phillip Cole, and stepchildren, Emily Cummins & Ashley Price. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Spring Arbor University and has 36 years’ experience in the financial industry where she has held numerous positions from Operations to Chief Executive Officer.
