Supporting Education
Founded as Berrien Teachers Credit Union in 1934, we’ve stayed true to our roots in education with continuous support of students and teachers. From our annual scholarship program and financial education workshops to our financial education mobile app, we’re invested in the future leaders of tomorrow.
Honor contributed to a new facility offering career and technical education for students across Kalamazoo County.
Each year Honor awards $30,000 to graduating seniors with funds of $2,500 each for post-secondary education.
Provides high school students a hands-on opportunity to explore the realities of adulthood, like managing finances and a budget.
Each year, 40 local teachers receive $500 each to enhance their classrooms and create better learning environments.

Our Youth Accounts are a great way for toddlers on up to teenagers to learn about saving and managing money.
