PORTAGE, MICHIGAN – July 16, 2025 – Honor Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Jeanette Elston as the new Portage Branch Manager. With more than two decades of experience in the financial industry and a strong background in client relations and customer service leadership, Jeanette brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role.
Jeanette holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in human resource management, both from Central Michigan University. Her extensive experience in financial services equips her to lead with insight, empathy, and a member-first mindset.
“I’m truly excited to step into this role and build strong, lasting relationships with both our members and our community,” said Elston. “I’m looking forward to leading a team that is passionate about delivering personalized service and financial guidance that makes a real difference in people’s lives. Together, we’ll focus on enhancing member experiences and growing the branch with integrity and care.”
A Portage native, Jeanette is eager to return to her roots and contribute to the community that shaped her. “I look forward to becoming an active part of the vibrant community I grew up in and building genuine connections with our members,” she added. “I’m excited to support local initiatives and contribute to the community’s continued growth and success.”
