MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – MARCH 14, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is proud to announce the hire of Jason (Lee) Lampinen as Community Development Officer (CDO) for the Gwinn, Marquette, Negaunee, and surrounding communities.
Originally from the Philippines, Jason moved overseas to Farmington Hills, Michigan, and for the past seven years has resided in Marquette, Michigan, with his daughter, Isabella, and English Bulldog, Hulk. Lampinen received his Associates in Broadcast Communications from Spec’s Howard School of Broadcast Arts and brings a wealth of experience building relationships in the community from his combined 12 years working with Radio Results Network (RRN).
He’s held various positions within RRN ranging from sales to marketing and is more widely known for his time spent as the Radio Host of The Jason Lee Show on 94.9 The Bay.
As part of the Business Services team, the Community Development Officer works closely with several departments, including Honor’s Member Center Managers, Member Experience, Marketing, and Real Estate teams.
By working together, their mission is to create relationships, serve the community, and act as a connector to provide members with financial solutions for success. As a CDO, he will be heavily involved in supporting community organizations and building business partnerships.
Jason is eager to continue building strong relationships and supporting the communities where he lives. “I look forward to reconnecting with business owners and making new relationships to further help the growth of our community,” stated Lampinen. “I used to entertain the community on their drive to work, and now I can help their business grow with fantastic products and services available through Honor Credit Union.”
